I haven’t tackled slimming until now because it is a complex process which needs some preparation. You have to slim smart if you want to stay healthy, fit, and… slim forever. That is why I have written all the articles in Next Woman so far in preparation for approaching this grand topic.
And I am never going to stop, as you need constant coaching before, while, and post action when it comes to slimming. Again, you need coaching to stay slim and fit, and grow young. It is a permanent process, a way of life, so to speak.
To slim smart is a slow art therefore, and growing young is pure art applied to your lifestyle. And what is art, if not LOVE?
Hack Is Not a Way to Hack It with Fat
When you feel unhappy with the way you look, and guilty about it, you are ready to rush into action. This is not good, if you want to slim smart. You will rush into any diet which comes your way, into taking slimming pills and potions, and working your heart out at the gym. Believe me, there’s nothing smart about hacking fat away. You will never stop until you’ve tried out any sensational solution out there. And do you know why? Because the results are short lasting.
Short lived results go hand in hand with the ever growing abundance of fast fixes. Although we live in a fast world, not everything which is fast is also good. And ‘out there’ has turned into an unlimited space nowadays. Just think of the Internet. Isn’t this abundance mind blowing? More readily a source of stress than of relief.
Go for Nature’s Ways
First of all, you should know that there is no miracle pill or diet to turn you healthily into a slender beauty. Nor permanently, for that matter. But don’t worry, there is a way. As I keep telling you, there is a solution to any problem in this world. On condition you thoroughly understand the world in which you were born and its ways. So go for nature’s ways.
Slim Smart Preparation Stage
As I said, for flattering and long-lasting results, you need to prepare your mind and body before entering a slimming program. First and foremost you have to understand yourself. How your mind and body work together to push you forward and thrive. This knowledge will get you to the root of the problem, no matter what it is. Operate on the cause, if you want permanent results.
Talk to yourself
You look at yourself in the mirror and say, girl, you should trim this and that. You keep telling yourself you need to lose weight. Now and then you reprimand yourself for not sticking to healthy eating. You promise yourself you will go to bed earlier the following night and drink two large glasses of water first thing in the morning. You postpone taking up physical exercise, but reassure yourself that day will come any time soon. This is good. It means you take time to talk to yourself. It is the most natural thing to do on the way to self-discovery and self-care.
The only thing is, you should never feel unhappy about yourself. I know it might be difficult, but with some practice you can do it. Try not to use negative words and never be hard on yourself.
Slim Smart Preparation – 3 Basic Tips
